Why use it

Moving a site or changing URL structures? Paste one redirect per line (old URL, then new URL) and get server-ready rules. The tool warns about chains, loops and duplicate sources, and can flatten chains so every old URL reaches its final page in one hop.

Bulk input

Paste two columns of old and new URLs and convert them all at once.

Catches mistakes

Flags redirect chains, loops and duplicate sources before they reach production.

Four formats

Export .htaccess, Nginx, Next.js next.config and Netlify _redirects rules.

How to use it

  1. 01

Paste one redirect per line: the old URL, then the new URL, separated by a space, tab or comma.

  2. 02

Full URLs and paths both work; the host is removed from source paths.

  3. 03

Review warnings for chains, loops and duplicates, and enable Flatten chains if needed.

  4. 04

Choose Apache, Nginx, Next.js or Netlify and copy the rules.

Questions

Short answers about privacy, limits and how the tool works.

301 or 308?

Both are permanent. 301 is the long-standing default for servers; Next.js uses 308 for permanent: true. Search engines treat both as permanent moves.

Why avoid redirect chains?

Each hop adds latency, and crawlers may stop following after several hops. Pointing every old URL straight to its final destination is faster and safer.

How long should redirects stay in place?

At least a year, and ideally permanently, because links and bookmarks to old URLs never fully disappear.
